Hey Everyone! 
 
Welcome to the 2008 REAL LIFE AMAZON JUNGLE TEAM!
***The very first thing we must do as a team is select a better team name than that.  It is far too long.  Feel free to submit ideas but they must not be too corny.***
 
I cannot tell you how excited I am to live life together for two months this coming summer.  Through all the excitement, joy, mistakes, successes, garbage, tears, laughs, and memories, it will be amazing to see how each one of us grows to know our amazing Jesus in a more intimate way.  And somehow through the midst of all of it, God always miraculously chooses to use us, the broken vessels that we are, to profoundly impact the lives of men and women living in the villages here in the Amazon Jungle.  For Crystal Reitsma and I ´here´ is the jungle for the next two months until we meet you at the airport here in Iquitos.  Your prayers are very much appreciated for us as we also are now praying for you that God may begin to unify our team so that we my serve each other and the villages here out of a heart of love and humility. 
 
That being said, Crystal, Kelli, and I are here to serve you and pray for you even now before the trip begins.  I will be dropping in and out of touch as I make trips out to the villages, but please email questions, prayer requests, and anything else that is on your heart to anyone of the three of us (I will let you know if I am on an extended trip and will not be able to reply).  We are excited to begin to get to know you over the next weeks until we meet in June!
